There’s been this deep desire to offer something for the women wanting to get more off the beaten path – to explore and shoot in areas untamed, breathtaking & life affirming in experiencing them. “To live deep and suck out all the marrow of life”. So against all common sense, I’m offering this one-of-a-kind adventure workshop during peak fall colors in Colorado. I know this also happens to be photographers busiest time of year, but the window is so small to experience and shoot in this kind of beauty – and I think this is the year to offer it and go for it, as it has been on my “I should share this” loop in my head for quite some time!! I want to take you to some of my most favorite places in Colorado that have filled my soul in so many ways. This winter makes my 10 year anniversary for moving to this state, so something feels really in alignment from the magic I know that will come. I hope this calls the right women – the ones who’re fueled by tailgate picnics with an open fire overlooking the most unreal mountain vista they’ve ever seen. Bring your flannel. Bring your smile. And bring that part of you who is capable of doing big and hard things – we’re going to go make some epic magic in the places I love most (a few of them do require 4X4, but nothing crazy).
Adventure Itinerary
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25
2 pm: Welcome kick off with snacks & drinks
4 pm: Off we go! First adventure location and sunset shoot & boy is it good!
8 pm: Rooftop dinner with a mountain views + twinkly lights at one of my favorite casual local hangs
10 pm: Hot tub with drinks & dessert back at the workshop house
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
Off the beaten path adventure day!! Plus this will be the day to really soak in Colorado showing off its peak fall foliage (it’s like walking in a dream) – it’s why I planned this workshop for this particular weekend. After breakfast at the house, we’ll be out for the whole day going big. I want to show you my favorite Colorado spots that take a little more work to get to & I absolutely can’t wait to plan some epic shoots in them for us. Please also plan to bring something to wear for self-portraits if you want those. Otherwise, we’ll have our sunset shoot with models. We’ll finish this day at my favorite restaurant for a special dinner (where I go for my birthday) & then a hot tub soak back at the workshop house to conclude the day.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27
We’ll have both sunrise & sunset shoots on this day, but keeping the locations more easily accessible. Between shoots, we’ll have breakfast at the house, time for roundtable editing, a casual lunch out & a hike with another epic opportunity for self portraits before our sunset model shoot. The day will wrap with a casual dinner out & another opportunity for hot tub soak back at the house while you daydream about all that we’ve seen and done.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
7:30 am – 10 am: Opportunity for 1:1’s
10 am: The end of our adventure & check-out.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
4 inspired shoots in some of the finest Colorado backdrops. Editing roundtable & opportunity for 1:1’s. Lodging in a gorgeous mountain home with: 3 shared king beds, 4 bunk beds with singles & a hot tub. The house will be stocked with an assortment of breakfast items to make your own daily breakfasts, snacks & drinks.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
Airfare, Transportation, Lunch & Dinner.
CARPOOLING / 4x4
I’ll create a private attendee Facebook group where attendees can plan carpooling. Besides my 4Runner, 2 attendees will need to also drive 4X4’s to fit us all for the shoots (the 4×4 roads are not crazy, but you must be comfortable driving on a single lane dirt road & navigating some rutted sections). Parking is limited to 4 vehicles at the workshop house.

Refund Policy
Seats are non-refundable or transferable. In the event you can’t attend, you can sell your seat to someone to replace you, but it is your responsibility (I’m happy to help by contacting those on my waitlist and announce on social media as well).
